Description

MS water treatment plants are designed to concentrate suspended mineral particles after flocculation and sedimentation, and to recycle the process water.

Fields of application

The MS water treatment plants find their applications in:

  • The clarification of washing water in mines, quarries and sand pits.
  • The treatment of site drainage and seepage water
  • The thickening of clays and valuable fines (kaolins...), as well as in the treatment of any industrial water containing mineral particles (mineral industry, stone cutting industry, agrofood industry...)

Conception

  • Steel settling tank with overflow weir, on concrete base
  • Static bridge, with mechanism driving the raisable pendular scraper
  • Control room, installed on the bridge, and containing the control and monitoring cabinet, the flocculant prepration unit "DOSAFLOC", the flocculant dosage and monitoring unit "CONTROLFLOC"
  • Recycled water tank with water pump unde load
  • Automatized pumping section for the concentraded sludge

Performances

  • The range of 8 water treatment plants, from DR6 to DR20, covers applications from 150 to 1600 m3/h, containing up to 80 t/h of suspended solids
  • Optimisation of the flocculant consumption (and, if required, coagulant)
  • Precise measurement of the scraper resisting torque to optimize thickening of sludge
